Review - Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Holiday 2015

Holiday palette alert!

Hey babes,

Today I'll show you my newest palette that I purchased - the limited edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette for Holiday 2015.

I must admit, as everyone else, this is much smaller than the previous palette and the blushes. The blushes from the start are smaller than the powders so...imagine this. BUT , the quality is there, and if you don't want to buy the 6 in full-size, than this is for you!

You must see the bright side in anything!

If you're not a make-up artist and you want this just for yourself and for daily use, I mean everyday you wear make-up, than this is perfect for you!

If you want to use it just once a week, buy the products you like in one size and use it . But hey, who am I to tell you what to buy, you're a make-up collector and want to have it, go for it!

As other bloggers/vloggers stated, you get less products for the money - 80$ , but you have 6 small Hourglass products which have different uses.

It is stated on their website to be " everything you need to brighten , finish, highlight and contour "  in one small , clutch sized palette. Yet, I must dissagree in some point.
Dim light and Diffused light are not matt, and neither Luminous bronze light...just these are not good for super oily skin types.

You can bronze up your face a bit with Liminous bronze light but you can't contour your nose with it...please, do not!

The packaging is very pretty , the same material as the previous palette and the full size products.

Palette includes 6 shades:

• IRIDESCENT STROBE LIGHT (NEW): A rose pearl powder that gives a refined glow to the complexion.
• LUMINOUS FLUSH: A champagne rose blush fused with Luminous Light to evoke a candlelit glimmer.
• MOOD EXPOSURE: A soft plum blush fused with Mood Light to brighten the complexion.
• LUMINOUS BRONZE LIGHT - a medium tan shade fused with Luminous Light for a softer, candlelit warmth.
• DIM LIGHT: A neutral peach beige powder that blurs imperfections and highlights the complexion.
• DIFFUSED LIGHT: A soft, warm, pale yellow powder that conceals redness and gives skin clarity

Swatches in order

Pros:

Gorgeous shades which can be use carefully on almost every skin type/tone

Versatile - you can use the new highlighter on the eyes, it looks stunning!!

Very smooth texture and doesn't look cacky no matter how much you apply! Good for begginers as well.

Very pigmented! Be carefull on the blushes, you only need a tiny bit!!

Large mirror

Looks pretty in pictures

Cons:

The powders does not set the concealer well. My under eye area is dry , so I apply a creamy liquid concealer to highlight. When I fixed it with Diffused light it creased....
What I do is fix my concealer with a little bit of translucent powder - Mufe HD, and after I apply a small amount of this. Than it is secured.

Small amount of product for the price

What do you think? Buy or Pass??!?!

I don't regret getting it, and I will use it to the max!!

Kisses,
L.
